Learn a lifelong skill with our pro Becky, who has taught beginning knitters in Billings for the past 12 years. Many of you will recognize her as the former owner of Billings Gymnastics School and know that she is comfortable teaching all types of learners. According to Becky, "the lightbulb really goes off between the second and third class". In this series of 3 classes you will learn the anatomy of a stitch and how to recognize Knits and Purls, while following a pattern with knitting terminology. You will also be exposed to reading a chart, another component of pattern reading. Finish the class with tips and tricks, practice fixing mistakes, and leave with ideas and patterns to confidently move on to your next project!
Some of your favorite designers and creators will join us for a series of online gatherings with a partnership with fellow LYS, Longmont Yarn Shoppe: Fiberside Chats!
Launched in May, these gatherings, hosted on Zoom, are one-hour sessions with special guests joining us to give a peek into their world. These designers and creators will discuss their unique path, creative processes, latest projects—or whatever is inspiring them now. There will also be a Q&A session, giveaways, and other fun surprises for those who join!
