The next step in our Learn to Knit series: gather around our table with Linda and make the Perfectly Easy Beanie - a tried and true classic. You’ll learn to knit in the round and shape the top of your hat, which incorporates DPNs (double point needles). Voila! You’ll be amazed that you’ve turned a beautiful strand of yarn into a warm hug for somebody’s special noggin. Join Sue to begin the Cloisonée Mittens. This fun stitchwork creates a little clamshell-like colorwork pattern at the base of the mitten. If you don't need more instruction about how to make mittens you don't have to commit to the next week's class, which will guide you through the rest of the mitten pattern. Chilam Sweater Workshop

Join Bonnie, talented and local designer, for a workshop that covers techniques involved her new Chilam Sweater. You'll be knitting a swatch using these techniques: I-cord cast-on, zigzag stitch without a cable needle, and German short rows. You'll be all set to incorporate them into your own Chilam Sweater!
