This is an in-person class.

The Lighthearted Slipover is a stranded colorwork vest that is written for adventurous beginners.  It is knit bottom up starting with a split ribbed hem. Then the colorwork is knit in the round to the underarms.  The vest is then worked flat for the front and the back in the main color and joined at the shoulders.

The vest comes in two lengths, cropped and hip length and in 8 sizes.  The sweater requires Aran weight yarn in 2 contrasting colors, and the suggested needle sizes are US 6, 8 and 10.  However, the designer states that she is a very tight knitter, so it is crucial to check your gauge.  Cindy used size 6 for the ribbing, 9 for the colorwork and 8 for the body.
