Pasquali Balayage

Balayage was developed in collaboration with designer Melanie Berg alias Mairlynd. The sport weight blend of 80% baby alpaca and 20% fine merino creates a yarn that is SO SOFT and gentle to touch. It's perfect for shawls and scarves and would be a divine sweater. Its fine stitch definition is ideal for cables, lace, and colorwork.

The special feature of this yarn is its mottled grey shade, which has been achieved by combining 80 percent white + grey baby alpaca with 20 percent white organic merino wool.  This combination creates a color gradient with a very natural hand dyed feel, resulting in a harmonious color palette with limitless possibilities. 

Tip: It is advisable to always order enough yarn for your desired project to ensure you knit your entire project with yarn of the same dye batch. We suggest purchasing an extra skein. It's "cheap insurance"!
