Get started!

Please purchase the book and your yarn before the first class. We will follow the order in the book to
learn the blocks.
Read the introductory materials in the book to familiarize yourself to what we will be doing. Please
do not get overwhelmed by all of the material. Just take a look at it and don’t worry about if you can
do it or not. We will be taking it small step by small step, and if you need to refer back to the
introductory content, it will be helpful. Use it as a reference, not something you need to know or
memorize.
Homework
Before class starts on Nov 11, please cast on the required stitches. Since we only have an hour it will
help you a lot if you come prepared. I would like you to have time to practice in class so you can
complete the block within the next month. Don’t spend your valuable hour in class casting on.
Cheerleading
You can do it! But if you have trouble the ladies at the Yarn Bar are there to help. Use them as a
great resource.
You can always e-mail or text me. Be sure to identify yourself and the class you are taking since I am
teaching more than one class at a time.
