Classes will be held at the Yarn Bar from 10-12, on these Saturdays: January 11, Jan 25, Feb 8, Feb 22, March 8, March 22
6. There are a total of six class sessions.
The First Sweater Class is designed to help beginning level knitters to knit their first sweater. The pattern is top down and uses bulky yarn and larger needles so that it can be completed quickly. In addition, the pattern is perfect for first-time sweater knitters, providing excellent explanations throughout the pattern. The First Sweater Class will be held over 7 weeks and two weeks apart. Cindy will teach how to read the pattern, join
and knit in the round, make increases for the yoke, how to divide for sleeves and finish the body. Sleeves come last, and Cindy will teach how to do a stretchy bind off at the bottom of the sweater and sleeves.

To be successful in the class knitters should know how to cast on, knit and purl. Cindy will teach the rest.
