Class: Toph Hat by Woolly Wormhead
This graphic, sculptural hat is full of short row flair! Using Woolly Wormhead’s signature “short row maps,” you’ll stay confidently on track as you create the bold curves of this design. You’ll work with two colors in DK weight yarn—hand-dyes make it pop, but solids shine too.

In class, you’ll learn:

  • The crochet provisional cast-on

  • German short rows

  • The garter stitch Kitchener graft for a seamless finish

This is a great project for adventurous knitters ready to level up their skills—and their headwear game.

2 contrasting colors of a DK weight yarn.

Suggested Needle in pattern is 3.25mm or a 3.5mm depending on size, however Linda has found a circular US#3 -24" works well.

Another 24" circular, same size or one size smaller.

3.25 crochet hook (or a close size) or a repair hook.
