Embroidery Workshop May 8

May 8th from 5:30 - 7:30

Our pro Kim shares her embroidery expertise during this evening workshop. We have a great selection of complete kits that include hoop, needle, floss, and stamped design, or you can opt to embellish your own knitted fabric with transfer sets that we stock.

Choose from a variety of adorable complete embroidery kits or one of our Poketto Kollective stick & stitch transfers for hand knits. If you go this route, here's the low-down:

After you've purchased your transfer patterns, there are a few ways to approach this workshop:

-Bring an 'old' or thrifted sweater to embellish.

-Bring a knit or crochet swatch to embellish.

-Make something specifically to embellish - pillow top, hat, shawl, mittens, scarf. Many of Pam Powers' patterns are designed specifically to enhance her embroidery motifs.

Other materials needed will be an embroidery hoop, needle, small scissors, and fingering weight wool - the Poketto Kollective Chibi Pack is highly recommended but not required. We carry all except for embroidery hoop.
