Rauma Yarn
Popular with Norwegian knitters for nearly a century, Rauma uses Norwegian wool of the finest quality to produce their yarns. They are great for color work, knitting, or felting. They do not pill. Items made from Rauma yarns last a lifetime and can still look new when they are actually cherished heirlooms, passed down from generation to generation.
The Rauma Wool factory is located at the mouth of the Rauma River in the village of Veblungsnes in Møre og Romsdal County in northern Norway. They have been in business since 1927, producing yarns of the highest quality not only of wool, but also of cotton, linen and silk under their “Raumagarn” and “PTgarn” labels.
