Join us, won't you, as we tag along with the Mason-Dixon Bang Out A Sweater annual "month long sweater making party" knitalong. This is their fourth year of February Sweater Fun, and so we have four terrific selections to choose from. Also, we can highly recommend the latest sweater design from CLHK as one that fits the "Knit a Sweater in a Short Month" ticket.
There will be a commemorative present for all participants, we'll have random prize drawings throughout the month, and we have a very regular Saturday morning and Monday evening knitalong schedule set if you like to operate that way. Also, we'll have a potluck brunch on the 16th - to celebrate the halfway point!
If you are new to sweater knitting, don't hesitate to join in for this one! These patterns are perfect first sweater projects, and we're here to help if you need it. (And the beauty of a knitalong is there will probably be another knitter at a gathering who can answer questions or be a 'sounding board'!)
The hardest part may be deciding on which sweater to do! Both Sue and Linda would knit the Carbeth sweater or cardi again, as well as the Stopover or the Fanad Head! And what about the Hadley or the Calligraphy Cardigan. ?!
