Late in the summer we put out a call for handknit cowls for the September Casting for Recovery weekend. They came in, the weekend happened, and Thank You Notes came back. As we take stock of things before heading to Market we wish to THANK YOU again  for supporting your local yarn shop. We know without a doubt that shopping online is quite a lot easier than making the effort to leave the comforts of home and head out to a brick and mortar shop. We also know that it is impossible for us to stock all of what The Internet offers with essentially instant gratification to consumers in terms of seeing the latest hand dyed creation and clicking directly into a website to get it ASAP. Snapshot: Week 3

As the blogging happens today, I listen to the hum of conversation about foods for bone healing, along with the rhythmic work of stitching as a small group sits and visits; and we have the second Brioche Workshop going on at our classroom table. Their discussion seems very technical, and Brioche is looking wonderful. Kim keeps pulling out samples that inspire. Our days absolutely zoom by!
