We are lucky to have several beautiful garments in shop to inspire your next project using Kestrel, the aran weight organic linen from Quince & Co.
We personally were in love with Kestrel when we received the first shipment to the shop last spring. It's an aran weight organic linen that creates beautiful texture and drape in finished garments. And you all loved it too, since several Mira and Deschain tops-to-be hopped onto needles. Sue wore Mira all summer and Meredith looks so pretty in her Deschain!
These two tops are patterns we would make again, and we are lucky to have a trunk show from Quince to give us some fresh ideas for the project queue. The trunk show is here til the end of the month. We encourage you to pop in the shop to see for yourself, but here are some details.
Denis has elegant clean lines with great back and sleeve detail. Ela is an adorable loose fitting tank with elongated eyelet design that reminds us of argyle.
Brin has beautiful stitch inset detail on the sleeves and side of tunic, with fun construction. Soleil has fantastic herringbone stitch details at the bottom - nice opportunity for color play.
And a neighborhood bunny joined the photo shoot... looking well matched to the Senza undyed linen shade that Quince features in these tops!
