Once Upon a Crown Holiday Workshop

Every knitter deserves a crown. 👑

In this holiday afternoon workshop, we’ll knit Once Upon a Crown by Sahnya Greenfield—a quick, fun project for gifting with plenty of room to customize. Start with super bulky or bulky yarn (Malabrigo Rasta is perfect, or try doubling a bulky), even add a little sparkle with a shiny thread or sequins to make your crown truly fit for royalty.

You could do the classic cast-on or learn a two-color cast-on, corrugated ribbing, and how to create the crown points. From there, the fun is in the customizing: color combinations, sparkle, embellishment and all the little details that make it yours.

Make one as a holiday gift—or, frankly, keep the crown for yourself. We won’t judge.

Supplies:
• Super bulky or bulky yarn (you'll be doubling the bulky), solid or multicolor
• Optional shiny thread or sequins
• 16" US 11 circular needle
• Double-pointed needles to match
