Knock Out Some Knockers
It's that time of year, ladies. Linda and Sue's mothers both have battled breast cancer, and it has impacted many of our friends and customers. This Breast Cancer Awareness Month we discuss the Knitted Knockers organization and how we are affiliated with them, and we share an American Cancer Society recipe that Sue has made nearly once a week for about 15 years. I Knitted Knockers is a non-profit organization based in Bellingham WA that provides countless knockers free of charge to women around the world. Yarn Bar Rotator: Second Edition "Touch the West"
Mountain Meadow Wool is very dear to us. First of all, the mill is practically a next door neighbor out here in this neck of the woods! Snapshot: Week 3
As the blogging happens today, I listen to the hum of conversation about foods for bone healing, along with the rhythmic work of stitching as a small group sits and visits; and we have the second Brioche Workshop going on at our classroom table. Their discussion seems very technical, and Brioche is looking wonderful. Kim keeps pulling out samples that inspire. Our days absolutely zoom by! We are getting really great feedback from customers on the Polka Dot Sheep yarn. We’re so glad to have it in the shop! Cocoknits Sweater Workshop Knitalong and Slow Fashion October
We’ve always enjoyed the Cocoknits notions and pattern designs, so when we saw that a sweater workshop book was set for release, Sue placed a pre-order for her home library right away.
