Field Notes: Field Sweater Yoke
Field Notes: The Field Sweater Yoke
January 23 & February 6, 10am - 12pm
A two-session knitting class inspired by the popular Field Sweater by Camilla Vad, focusing on the beautiful and distinctive grain stitch yoke.
In the first session, Becky will help you explore the grain stitch to get comfortable working this textural pattern. In the second session, She'll work through the transition rows between the first and second sections of grain stitch, helping you navigate this important part of the yoke with confidence.
This class is for experienced sweater knitters. Students should already be comfortable with sweater construction and working a sweater independently. Once the yoke is complete, you'll continue knitting the remainder of your sweater on your own.
And the fun doesn't stop with the Field Sweater! Camilla Vad has designed several pieces featuring grain stitch, including a cardigan, pullover, vest, and mittens. You'll come away with techniques you can carry into a whole collection of projects.
Come for the texture, stay for the satisfying challenge of a beautifully constructed yoke!
