Seacote Shawl by Paulina Popiolek is part of our Fibre Co Foundations trunk show

Spring Summer '19 Fibre Co. Foundations

Aren't these lovely! The Fibre Company sent us their trunk show of lightweight sweaters and wraps knit with Meadow, Luma, or Cumbria Fingering and we think all the designs are very wearable and knitable.

Seacote (featured on the fancy dress) is rhythmic garter stitch and simple lace panels knit in drapey laceweight Meadow (40% Merino, 25% baby llama, 20% silk, 15% linen). The sweet edging is knitted on at the end.

Eartha Bee is a timeless cardigan with twisted rib front edgings knit with Cumbria Fingering (60% merino wool, 30% masham wool, 10% mohair). Perfect for cool spring mornings!

Heritage Coast is a gorgeous long lightweight open front cardi featuring a radiating twisted rib that travels from the back up and over to the front. Knit in lightweight Luma (50% Merino, 25% organic cotton, 15% linen, 10% silk); it's a perfect layering piece for your handmade wardrobe!

Irish Sea is a beauty knit in lace weight Meadow with delicate lacework down the edge.

West Cumberland is a fun trapeze shaped wrap worked in three sections with three different stitch patterns. It's knit with Luma - choose one color or three for a color blocked effect!

We invite you to stop in and try these sweaters and wraps on! Fibre Company's yarns are always a blend of fibers which each take dyes differently, giving brilliant depth to the yarn (photos don't do them justice). We love them! And these foundation designs for spring/summer are a delight. Cheers to beautiful warm weather yarns and project inspiration.
