Retrosaria Rosa Pomar
Retrosaria (Portuguese for haberdashery) started online in January 2008. In the end of 2009 they opened their shop at Rua do Loreto, in the heart of Lisbon. Rosa Pomar spends her time between the shop, where she teaches some of their classes, and her field research of Portuguese textiles. One of the products of this work is their range of yarns, some of which are hand spun by skilled artisans using traditional tools and methods. In 2021 the shop moved to a bigger space at Rua Maria Andrade 50A, where they are now based.
