Jackalope Vest: An Intarsia Adventure

Designed and taught by local knitwear designer Paul Haesemeyer, this five-session class is your chance to learn intarsia while making a seriously fun statement piece. Paul is fresh off teaching at Flock Fiber Festival, and he’s bringing his colorwork expertise home to Yarn Bar.

The Jackalope Vest is worked in bulky-weight Alafosslopi and features a wonderfully unexpected intarsia jackalope. Paul will guide you through the construction, color changes, and yarn management as you work your way toward a finished vest. Feeling ambitious? The design can also be adapted with sleeves to make a full sweater.

Classes meet once a week, giving you time between sessions to knit, practice, and come back with questions.
